Unmanaged Windows 98 computers are incorrectly identified as Windows 95 in the Sophos Control Center

Windows 98 computers that have not yet had Sophos Anti-Virus installed on them will be reported as being Windows 95 computers in the Sophos Control Center console list and the 'Protect new computers' wizard. This is because the Sophos Remote Management System, which is a component of Sophos Anti-Virus, has not yet been installed on them.

Once Sophos Anti-Virus has been installed on the affected computers, the operating system will be reported correctly.
