Endpoint Security and Control 9.x: is a reboot required?

During the installation of Enterprise Console 4.5, there may be reboots required during the installation of the pre-requisites.

There are no server reboots associated with the upgrade to Enterprise Console version 4 or version 4.5, unless a prerequisite is missing.

Endpoints

Endpoint Security and Control 9
On initial installation of Endpoint Security and Control 9, all endpoints will require a reboot.

After the endpoints are upgraded to Endpoint Security and Control 9, they will require a reboot.

Also, the endpoints may require a second reboot if you start using Device Control after the upgrade.

Endpoint Security and Control 9.5
On initial installation of Endpoint Security and Control 9.5, all endpoints will require a reboot.

After the endpoints are upgraded to Endpoint Security and Control 9.5, they will require a reboot.
